The hospital was established in 2022 B.S. as Tamghas Hospital through the joint efforts of the Government of Nepal and talented and dedicated doctors and health professionals. Following the implementation of federalism in Nepal, it has been operating as Gulmi Hospital under Lumbini Province, making a significant contribution to the country’s healthcare sector.
Strategically located on 14 ropanis of land, the hospital provides a wide range of healthcare services to the communities in the region. These services include emergency, maternity, general, elective, and ancillary medical and surgical care.
Since FY 2079/80, the hospital has also been providing orthopedic services. In the coming days, the hospital plans to operate multispecialty services, and the necessary infrastructure for this purpose is currently under construction.
